Admissions Process
Our admissions process for new students begins in January each year. Families interested in enrolling their child for the 2025-2026 school year are encouraged to attend our Annual Open House, held in early January, to learn more about our school and programs. While the Open House for this year has passed, we are hosting a second round of assessments on Friday, February 21, 2025. If you are interested in registering your child for the upcoming school year, please contact the school to register for the Group Assessment and Information Session.
Admissions Process:
Call the school to sign up for the group assessment session on Friday, February 21st, and provide the $150.00 assessment fee.
Attend the assessment and information session, which will take place from
1:00 p.m. to 1:40 p.m.
After the session, you will receive an offer of admission via email, pending space availability.
To secure your child’s spot, complete and return the application package along with the required deposit.
Final decisions on our enrolment intake for the upcoming September will be made on Friday, February 28, 2025. All families who applied for registration will be contacted by the Head of Admissions.
Assessments:
Our group assessments are conducted by some of our experienced teachers and administrators. Students participate in small groups, spending approximately 40 minutes in a classroom. These sessions allow our staff to observe how the children engage with classroom materials, interact with teachers, and respond to the Montessori environment. There are no formal tests or exams during the assessment.
After all assessments are completed, final enrollment decisions will be made, and families will be notified by Friday, January 24th. Please note that registration priority is always given to new students who currently have siblings enrolled at Cornerstone.
